I've seen the same problem before with ARP bolts beeing to short.
Just use the stock ones. They are good for at least 750 hp and a lot of rpms

        Boring a RS2 head gasket.

The Recent Problem i have been attending to is the Headgasket.
The standard RS2 Spec Gasket is @ 82mm Bore, My block was bored to 82.5mm

After alot of consideration and failing to source a suitable 83mm headgasket, I decided to make a torque plate to clamp the headgasket between so that i could bore the standard RS2 Spec gasket out to 83mm.

I got the 6mm Steel Laser cut to the shape of the headgasket and my required 83mm bore.

Head Gasket ready to get bored out tomorrow.
You can see the overlap of the extra 1/2mm.

Thats a rather interesting way of doing it, is there any lose in strength to the gasket?

I suppose ther wouldnt be any serious loss in the strength, the torque plates arent to be tightened too much, just spanner tight.
In the Pictures Posted i have my used headgasket, gonna do a test run on the used 1st.

I bought a Zeitronix Alarm module, that can setup simple and complex alarm warnings,
Looking to this device to save my engine from meltdown.

Torque plates cost GBP 40 , getting it to the UK will probably cost more...
I'm sure you can get a set made up for similar $$.
