Today i succeded to fit the suspension...i need this to be able to build the exhaust.
The engine, gearbox diff are on the car.
I noticed something during installing the rear shocks....
With the shocks full extended...the driveshafts are touching the subframe.
Is this normal? The rear shocks are supposed to be shorter than the fronts?
    Thank You!
    Regards!
    Eugen

His name is Tavy, tell him that Emil from Sibiu with the S2 recommended him. He's top quality welder. Also he has good prices.

Thank You for the answer! I was thinking at that pass were the oem support was under the gearbox...there the oem pipes were squeezed and the diameter was reduced. You guys are not using that support? Thank you!

Most exhaust builders (assuming its a one off) prefer to copy the current exhaust as a pattern and have the car to ensure fitment. Keep the boxes in the same place and just a length of pipe where the cat should be.

Can somebody help me with the thread size from the banjo bolts at the kkk turbo water lines?
I try to find a way to fix the turbo oil feed line at my T04E turbo without restrictor.
What flange you used at the oil filter bracket?
    Thank you!

About the engine....hmmmm...i don't have the needed parts to build the downpipe.
I have a company which can build the 3" exhaust here....but i cannot transport the car there at this moment and i need that for the dyno.

I have brakes now...thanks to Tango23... I started gathering the needed parts for this conversion. I took the 323mm disks (zimermann) for the front. I have a promise from a friend for 2 rs2 replica calipers brackets.
I will let you know how D2 S8 calipers are working into S2 hubs.

I have installed the engine and gearbox today for test fit purpose....and i have some problems.
The turbo hot side touches the right leg....how you have solved this? Bending a little the leg in that area?
The second...is the turbo oil feed hose.
I receive'd one from an AAN but it dosint fit...somebody has a picture with an S2 one please? The AAN one is touching the AC compressor bracket.
The return is ok...sooo..i thought that the feed one will fit also...but...
    Thank You!
    All the best!

    Some more work done today!
The cams, timing belt and manifolds are on.
The TFSI coils on the 3B cam cover.
    Looks ok i think...
New exhaust manifold studs, washers and nuts.
I had to work a little at the hotside to be able to fit the nuts.

I remember looking into this, such a lottery of numbers!

I seem to remember that the minimum was to use std washers, and ideally SQ washers, not the supplied ARP ones.

Worrying to receive so many different answers. Mine are 80 lbft I think from memory.
