Inside, engine bay and under...i will use por15....the problem is on the panels which will be painted....i know i have to use an primer to protect the metal untill will be sent to body shop for painting..but i don't know which one.
Can you, please, recommend me an good one.
I saw on 3M site that the etch primer is best....but they have 2 types. 1 for bare metal and one for over paint.
Can you tell me please what to do?
    Thank You!
    All the best!

I am going to use the old 200 dashboard for the more Sport Quattro look...but..the fuel gauge is in liters....up to 80 as the 200 was.
Can somebody guide me in the right direction to change the face of that gauge with the 1, 1/2 and R readings in place of the old one?
        Thank You!
        All the best!

You will just need a standard blank core plug as the return is a core plug with with a nozzle on. Although it might be better just to block the pipe off rather than knock the plug out in case you ever want to revert back to water cooled

Yes Adam...this is the idea...i prefer to keep that plug there and just block'it off in place off replace.
I think i will use an aluminum bung with 2 hose clips and a piece of hose.
I thought that i can find an specific plug....pressure and heat resistant. But...anyhow.
                        Thank You!

Hy! Somebody knows the diameter of the oil feed line to turbo?

Ive blocked off a couple of water lines from my main rad (due to deletion of auxiliary) just by pushing a steel bolt into a small length of hose. If its tight enough that you have to screw the bolt into the rubber it will hold.

                              compression calculation

I have measured today the head chamber volume and the piston to block volume...
                              I am confused...or i do something wrong?
                              So....
Head volume: 44.4cc, piston to block surface: 7,1cc due to the fact i skimmed the pistons flat. The head gasket has 10,3 cc because is 2mm thick...the 034 cr reduction gasket wich has 7 layers.
Considering this...the cylinder volume is 445cc and combustion chamber is 61,8.
This gives me the 7,2 CR.
Is something wrong in my calculations or the engine is not 9.3 CR in the stock form?

I havn't checked your figures but if you've skimmed the pistons and fitted a thicker head gasket you may be right at 7.2:1.

If you tell me how much you skimmed off the std pistons I can check your numbers?
