Ok. Some things take a while to find, that's true. Sometimes you also have to be lucky. Thnx!

the parts are slowly (reeeeelll sloowwww) coming in.

        cv joints anyone?

and... i went back to oem. i couldn`t get used to the inox thing, so i took the oem thing and trimmed them to fit the s2 sideskirt.

        it doesen`t look so bad...

p.s.: yes, after the long winter, it needs a very good cleaning

How easy is it to fit the sideskirts and do you need to do any drilling? i've got to fit some of these to my avant over the next couple of weeks so just curious

well it is quite easy, but you need to drill at least one hole on each side. remove the rubber seals uner the car, remove the plastic trim on the doorstep, a couple of screws...

do you have all the fitting material?

              I have the following:

              both side pieces
both upper rubber trims to cover the holes
the metal screw tabs for underneath
the white tags that are held onto the bodywork

think i might have another couple of bits as well. Was hoping I would not have to drill into the bodywork

is the avant a quattro? dont be too sure to have the holes in the bodywork already there...

Have not checked that far yet, hopefully I have if not i'd prefer to stick them on tbh rather than cutting up the car even tho I have the bits that are needed for that section. Think I might tiger seal them on , good stuff for sticking on side skirts etc.

Yeah expecting that, the wiring is the bit i'm not that overly happy about the rest of its easy enough. Dash and heaterbox is already out so thats easier.
