Here are some pics from the BOOT OF THE SEDAN as requested (such a sexy area):










edit: the battery sits on a tray, fixed by a small piece of metal (original part) which is shaped so that it followes the "nudges" in an original battery and holds it down nice and tight, furthermore there is an piece of "boot interior" fixed to the tray by 2 screws which folds up/down allowing access to the battery

Actually there are some parts missing in your sedans trunk. On my battery is a plate where the car jack and the wheel wrench is mounted :-)

Parts Needed!

As prosty has gotten a hold of a 6-spd gearbox which he will be enforcing for me.. I need the gearbox mounts for a 6-spd gearbox (aby/adu)..


The reason for this is that the previous owner had put in some 5-spd "racespec"-box.. and I want to use it as a daily driver as well as a monster <;


Has anyone got some 6-spd gearbox mounts for sale?

you mean only the mounts,or the alloy frames as well?
I recommend 034 gearbox density mounts.Very nice! have them in my car,no vibration,and very good feel of the gears going in.

Hi papvas, hmm.. well.. I meant to ask for the alu-pieces that you bolt onto the gearbox itself, not the bushings that you mount between these pieces and the sub-frame..

I run the 034 bushings myself, on my 3b coupe that is.. and yes, they work very well!


To clarify, this is what I'm after.. but like not at that price:

I PM'd Wolfgang on a hunch that he might know of some brackets/mounts for the 6-spd gearbox and it turns out that I was right.. I must just decide if I can buy 'em now.. christmas is so close.. and I havn't bought any gifts as of yet >: I want them.... damnit


On another note, the wiring harness/loom for the RS2 interior (front seats) has been aquired.. and I realized that I already had the buttons/controls since I bought the wrong once earlier when I installed RS2 seats in my coupe.. so no worries there...

Things I need atm are:

# 6-spd gearbox brackets/mounts
# black interior CARPET
# black trims (A/B/C-pillar)
# black inner roof/trimming/lining
# gaskets and such

The car has passed it's REG/MOT in Sweden and I can from now on legally drive as I want to <:





I've picked up the 6-spd gearbox from prosty today and stored it in the garage next to the car. The gearbox mounting brackets has been aquired.. things are moving along <:


Next is to take out the engine and start the "fun" <;

Well well, after the REG/MOT i started to tear apart the badboy, as I dont have unlimited time to spend in the garage I didnt manage to get the engine out on the first day.. but its just to lift it outta there..










Gonna take the engine out.. rebuild it whilst changing the bushings/chassie.. perhaps brakes as well.. then map/re-paint.. but how/when I get there.. no-one knows! <; (and somewhere along the line.. the interior)
