450hp "(NOT)enough power" project

That's a similar set up to mine, mine is also circa 450bhp.
The power delivery is very linear from 2k onwards. I used to have an RS4 (2.7) many moons ago.... and the power delivery of my I5 is very similar.
I have driven a 550bhp car and although quick its power delivery was not for me.
Best of luck with the project..Leave a comment:

Just had a look on 034, should be sweet, not heard of many people using this turbo so will be interesting to see how it fares compared to the GT30 series. Something inbetween the k24 and RS2 has got to be the ultimate, fast spool and enough flow to keep the boost up top... the holy grail

Very cool project, kind of like I want mine to be and its nearly there, just need a few more HP but loads of bottom end, I was thinking of swapping out my RS2 turbo for a 3071, but maybe a 2876 is a better idea?
I used to love the way the K24 spun up at 2k

i can order both with t3 flange. the 2876 has smaller turbine wheel and bigger compressor.Leave a comment:

Ooops, missed the 76 bit at the end
How does the GT2876 compare to the 3071 apart from teh hotside flange?Leave a comment:

Very sensible... Why the GT28 rather than the GT30? Will the GT28 make 450bhp?Leave a comment:
