Well, I've owned my S2 Avant since the middle of July last year, and as time has gone on while I've owned it, I've picked up on certain things I dont like or would like to upgrade, pretty much making it a rolling project now.
After some research on here and at an Audi dealer, I've found out that my particular Avant was one of the very first batch of 15 that arrived in the UK and was an ex-demonstrator at Nevis Garage in Fort William.
How it was when I bought it:

Old stereo, replaced by an iPod compatible Alpine unit, a few weeks after:

New 18" RS4 replica's and clear side repeaters fitted in August, clear front indicators soon followed:

Gash MAF sensor mesh found when fitting Pipercross panel filter:

A very disappointing rolling road result in December(?) resulting in rigging up a makeshift boost gauge. 0.4 bar was all it was boosting at, a failed WGFV was to blame and it felt like a brand new car again:

A minor misjudgement while trying to reverse in the pitch black, resulted in this. Luckily, the only damage done was a piece of trim. Oops
:

New Milltek exhaust and boost gauge pictures seem to have bizarrely disappeared off Photobucket so I'll put them up on here ASAP.
For now, a nice set of black Samco boost hoses, MarkH intercooler mod, blackout B4 grille and a new lambda sensor are all on order, then hopefully another rolling road day to see how much better its running. Eventually, I'd like to go for around 300bhp, but sorting the surface rust after the winter takes priority.

No sign of ever having roof rails either.
