Just checked the diff code on the coupe it is quite clearly stamped with AEC on the underside.

What ratio is it?? Any body able to find out??

Its alive again!!!!

After nearly 3 years of being off the road for a major overhaul (started as a clutch change, then i bought a house) she fired up last night on the first turn of the starter.
I say first turn of the starter, because it took me over an hour with a multimeter to get the starter to turn, bloody Starter lockout relay was stuck, a quick dig in the spares boxes for a new one, job done!
TBH i should have just bridged the relay, it turns out that the starter lockout just checks to see if fuse 12 is blown and if so wont let u start the car, these cars are a bit clever for their own good sometimes!

She sounds ace with just the downpipe
Off to Charlies (Prospeed) to get the 3" exhaust sorted on the 7th.
Then its MOT/Alignment time!

New Droplinks all round
New Alu Subframe Bushes all round
New Poly wishbone Bushes all round
New Track rod ends and Bambridge adjusters and Front and rear Bambridge Delrin trackrod bushes
New OEM engine mounts
New Track density Gearbox+Diff mounts
New Poly ARB bushes
Nero 3" Downpipe
KW V2 Coilovers with newly refurbished Koni inserts
New Wheelbearings
Solid Spherical Topmounts with new bearings.
Retrofitted ABY front strutbrace
B4 front end conversion with ellipsoids
Various tired fittings hoses etc replaced in engine bay
Obvious Engine Oil change,
Gearbox and Diff Fluid change for MTX

Black leather 3B doorcards
B5 S4 Leather front seats with OEM S2 Front Subframes
Bo's Plasma Guages

yeah looking forward to it mate
pretty much got everything now, just need some boost & coolant hoses and a few odds and ends... oh and time
Trouble is i am rolling a load of other things in while the engine, gearbox and dash are out so it all adds up
