Thanks for the update Dave. The car did get on the dyno last Saturday, but was plagued by fueling problems the day before. For this reason, I limited boost to 29psi and kept the rpm set at 7200 to give the poor second fuel pump a fighting chance. I only hat 4 pulls to make power, and the inability to hold 85psi rail pressure throughout the rpm range at 29psi meant that I had 3 attempts to mess around with fueling maps. Oh well. It was still fun and made good power, especially for this dyno. With minor tweeks, I made 60whp in 3 pulls, and I think 550whp is possible at 29psi. I will go back soon with some more fueling to make some 38psi pulls and knock on 650whp hopefully.
Here is the sheet. for comparison, b7rs4s made ~300whp, and a full rs2 car made 260whp... This dyno reads very low, but who cares.

Went back to the dyno with more boost. The following run was done with the wastegate clamped shut via no wastegate line. This is truely what a hta 3582r with a tial .82AR will look like on a 2.2L with stock pistons, stock head and 7a cams. E85 fed with ID1000cc injectors run at 95psi base fuel pressure. Duty cycle at redline was at 96%( and consequently the highest consumption) though at whp peak, I saw almost 90%. Holding 38psi to redline would have resulted in not enough injector, but the 35r running out of air gives the injectors a break. The take home message is that the hta35r is well suited for the ID1000s in 5 cylinder configurations if rail pressure is around 8 bar.
As I said in the earlier post, I have 30psi by 4100rpm on the street. The other note is that the benchmark cars were 3 b7 rs4s that all made around 300whp with a 10whp spread. I made more power than any two of them combined. Based on the other cars that ran that day, I put the drivetrain loss at no less than 25%
Wow 6,5bars base rail pressure... what kind of pump do you use that is capable of keeping this pressure at these flowrates? (i read something about a second 044)
