You can change the style the forum displays by selecting your preferred style at the bottom left of the site.
We have made an enhancement so that old threads should now link from search results to the correct thread. This is not yet in place for single post links
One problem I ran into was that the balljoint on the 100 box for the cross bar was in a different place. Spent 2 hours scratching my head over that one before I worked it out! Worth checking
yeah on this box the casing had 2 threads so they could be used for the 90/coupe or the type 44's,was that not on the 100 box you used then?this came off a 1990 car
measured up for the intercooler this morning,can squeeze in a 200x660x75 O/A intercooler in that gap,don't know if the timing belt cover will go on or not though.

Can't believe I havn't done anything to it for over 6 months(apart from buy stuff for it).
heres the only other photo of it i have taken since when i dragged it out of its winter storage
bought this a couple of months back,has a tsr big valve head/schrick cam and sorted suspension hopefully will take this on track at coombe in a couple of weeks if i get my finger out and get an mot on it.

yeah by far my favourite shape audi
sadly i don't have much in the way of 90 specific parts,I have tonnes of t85 coupe bits though,what i need is a 90 parts car to store away.

But yes she runs,took it to tonksy about 18 months ago to finish the wiring off as I had lost all interest
Last week I moved it from its storage and washed an inch of shyte off it and moved it to my workshop,ive had a bet with the garage next door it will be done within 6 weeks lol,bearing In mind I started this almost 7 years ago
yes it is a 7a head but i machined the water manifold holes and welded on a hall sender mount to it so it is now exactly the same as the head of any ABY,i will put up some pictures of the process sometime.7a heads are always in much better condition than the turbo heads.
