The dashboard is still out. Most of the electrical cabling has been tidied up, exposed and dangerous wiring deleted. Once the new binnacle is fitted, car should be ready to start.
With the new running gear, Mark is recommending a little bit more camber is added to the geometry. Some Polyflex camber bolts should do the trick. And then finally, the mapping can begin!

At long last, the front end has been put back together.
All the latest alterations have meant I could revert to using a standard bumper. Personally, I never minded the 'growl' the modded bumper presented, but I am sure the return to standard will please many purists. Freshly painted bumper fitted out with lights - headlights with refurbished reflectors.

A little bit more progress to report, mainly finishing off and tidying up.
All electrics are now powered from the battery in the boot. This has been neatly enclosed and an isolator switch installed.

A few more items were powder coated.

All in all, really getting quite close now.
Major job still to do is to sort out the wiring behind the dash. This is particularly pertinent in view of what happened to a forum member's treasured ur recently where his car burst into flames and was destroyed.
Over the years, many alarms and stereos have been ripped out. Some of the remnants were not removed and could now be a real hazard.
The binnacle with updated clocks also needs fitting.
When this is complete, the final stage will be mapping the car on the DTA.
I can't wait.

On the subject of de-cluttering, it was decided to move the battery to the boot.
The main purpose was to create a bit more room, but it really helps with aesthetics and removes some weight from the front. It also meant I had the height to fit a front strut brace.
