Got on good last couple of days

Manifold, turbo, wastegate back on. There is much better access refitting everything as the rs2 manifold gives you more room to get in aboot to the downpipe bolts.
Test fitted intercooler with new bracket.
Fitted fomoto valve and new oil filter and got the silkolene oil in
Test fitted 996 brakes and discs.

Didint get much done on the car today but got my rs2 intercooler and aby crossmember up to my mates work and he brought it back tonight finished
Chopped original bracket off then made a right angle piece futher along welded back on.

Got the cross member off hopefully my mate can get his mate at work to get a bloke to mod it for me

Cont this afternoon with removing turbo, manifold and front bumper to get in aboot the intercooler,
everything removed without to much fuss




Got a bit of a surprise when i removed the bumper a new oil cooler bracket needed one screw holding it to the shroud any ideas if they are still avalible?




But the biggest shock of the day was I decided to have a look at the coil packs after reading fat audi 80 spark plug thread, noticed one of the ports coked up
Plug still had a few threads to go but still made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up

Yea a meet would be good, cant make Steves famous grouse meet again this year due to work

I've only had this S2 for a month but it's my third one! I've been in Blackburn for nearly 6 years and not ever seen another one in the area, only a pearl white fwd coupe with S2 badges in Dyce/Bucksburn a few times..

Used to see a pearl white S2 avant quite a lot in Airyhall when I lived in town.

This pearl white one? (below) I think I have had it 4 years now. I moved from Blackburn (Marcus Cres) about 4 years ago too.

There is a pearl white Coupe in Inverurie, and also a pearl white J plate UR. I am just outside Inverurie now but occasionally pass through Blackburn.

We will need to organise an Aberdeenshire meet sometime!

My S2 is around aberdeen occasionally as my parents still stay there. But the fuel bills to drive home make me fly instead haha.

I had a Wagner EM and Intercooler arrive from Bo yesterday.

I'm in Blackburn, about 4 miles from the airport.

Nice project! Where in Aberdeen are you? I haven't seen your car about. I haven't seen another S2 in Aberdeen in years!

Im in the middle of toon, not spotted any S2s about aberdeen for a while.
Hopefully when this is finished I will be out alot more
