.63ar hotside very small hot side housing, I will need to use a 10mm spacer between turbo & manifold

indeed! the .63AR is quite small. Also it seems that the turbine wheel is protruding quite a bit! weird!

Do you think that the .63AR will be a problem jade(for the EGT's that is)

Also did you order the cold side with anti surge, or normal 4inch?

.63AR is what Justin recommend for early spool

Some how i received only a oil cooled one, But that will be replaced by comp turbo, Bit of a pain but **** happens. but i get to keep this one !

No Just the centre section i will have to use old housing hot & cold

I heard an interesting thing about non-water cooled turbos. Basically it was that having coolant go through the turbo did little for the turbo, but instead heated up the coolant and rest of the engine by quite a bit unnecessarily. Supposedly this was from Lindsey Racing, an outfit here that does Porsches, particularly 951's. I didn't see anything about that on their website, however. It was an interesting concept, I thought.

it is , indeed,but with a sufficient radiator i wont think that it is a problem.Maybe when sitting in traffic perhaps.But audi must have had something in mind when they used it.
