    Alright Current punch list:

Measure for fuel lines so Mance can make me a set
Pull off AAN harmonic balancer, perform timing belt change, install 7a harmonic balancer (it was too shady to do it on the engine stand)
While timing belt is off, I need to figure out a solution for my water feed line to the turbo, the AAN line goes right where my PS Pump bracket sits. I'm thinking of just running flexible hose and cutting and flaring the line...
I need to figure out the blue pvc valve and how I want to route it, I'm not sure how it really works and if i just run a hose to the stock cq location if it will function the same way.
lastly I need to figure out the after-run pump, i need to get a "t" pipe and probably cut my coolant line and put in a t pipe... I saw one on 034's site that says it is for a BPV, but I think it would work for my application as well. This guy:http://www.034motorsport.com/product...ducts_id=18535

That should be everything to get the motor running, well not counting the obvious things like installing the intercooler, radiator, hoses, and coil packs.

After that only things left to do will be exhaust and a good alignment, oh and reinstall all the interior...

While the interior was out I'm swapping to a manual CC box, and I also gutted the box and stripped and recovered all the flaps, that 20 year old stuff is pretty nasty... now it will be all fresh and clean!

For the water line to the turbo you can use the 3B part as a starting point. It is close enough in design to the ABY/ADU line that it can be coaxed to go where you need it to go.

Some progress, I skipped work today so I could actually have time to work on this thing. I feel like I got quite a bit done... Found out my radiator had a hole in it, so had to make a detour to the junkyard to source a "new" one. got all the water lines hooked up, HVAC box in place and mounted, carpet is back in it, the old exhaust is removed, fuel lines are installed, downpipe is mounted, wiring is done under the hood, RS2 Headlights now have HIDs, found out my battery is dead, Feels like there is more that I did that I havn't mentioned... oh well. Picture of Progress:

Ran into a small problem with my HVAC Auto to manual swap, the wiring is completely different, writing that it sound obvious but i was under the impression that it was "plug and play". When i had the HVAC box out, i completely stripped it, cleaned it, and put in all new tape on the flaps. I put the box back in tonight and as I was getting ready to put in the dash I went to plug in the plugs, and low and behold, even though they are matching colors, they are different style plugs... here is what i have... There are no matching wire colors either... this box is NOT coming back out... damn Heater cores...

          Thanks in advance.

                            Swapped these things...

along with a new exhaust manifold, injectors, and new software...

                            Threw this on as well

Now I'm getting ready to do the Big Brake Swap, and I'm not quite sure which rotors to go with, here are some shots

I can't believe how rusty stuff from england is, it is nasty.

                            shiny rs2 brackets

So here is the Debate. i have a couple sets of 314x30 rotors, and a set of 323x30 rotors... I'm trying to decide which to use.

                            314's

honestly with the 314s, the pad overhangs the outside of the rotor by just a hair, literally 1 mm, personally i think shaving the brackets or shaving the caliper mounting points ever so slightly would bring it in perfectly on the rotor.

                            here is the 323

now this rotor extends past the pads a good 2 mm if not 3.

so the question is which is better? it seems like it would build up a shoulder running the 323 rotors, and like i said I think the bracket could be shaved to make it fit perfectly flush...

                            things to consider:
the 314 allows me to run a 16 inch wheel, the 323 forces me to use 17 and up (not a problem, since i have wheels, but...)
323 rotors are available stateside and are relatively cheap, the 314s need to be sourced from europe anytime i need a new rotor....

What do you guys think? bigger is better? or there is only so much pad so why would you need the extra rotor?

and here is a picture of the rotor next to my son... it weighs more then him and is bigger... sad but true.

Run the 323mm discs if you can. The bigger disc will transfer more heat, and that's what it's all about.
