If you dont mind me asking, where did you get the sections from to make up your own exhaust bits ?
Seen some from Jetex but wasn't sure about the price they were asking.

I did not know at the time that aelred could offer the service I thought about taking the engine down again. But i had to draw a line. If i dont reach my goal i will build another engine with water jackets and a dry sump.

I heard you can get it from plumbase etc or your local metal dealer if not try here but its not for the faint hearted.

I'll have a hunt for a supplier of all the bends etc - going to follow your lead and try and make my own DP / exhaust too, although not quite as massive bore
