Well she's move along a little bit since the last update. She's now pretty much a bare shell (apart from glass.bit of wiring..rear sub-frame).

All the 10 valve engine bit's ,,gearbox,, sub-frames, Digi dash is all up for sale now as it wont be needed.

      Definite:

      blast shell
20 Valve engine, gearbox and running gear.
multi point roll cage ( custom or bolt-in, im not to sure at the moment)
Stripped out interior,6 point harness. minimal dash with gauges using original dashboard but custom /edited slightly dial's.
Lightweight wiring loom for bare necessities
      A2 1983 Rally Replica.
White paint (might add Rally sticker's ..might not!!??)
      Oil cooler under rear spoiler
      front mounted rad
      standard position turbo
      Fmic with inter-cooler spray
rebuilt engine with some upgrade's for reliability
Coil-overs and strut brace (do they do a underneath chassis brace for the Ur..Seen a few on scoob's and heard good things about them)

      Maybe:
      EFI with possible Rs2 upgrades
      lightweight bonnet,doors boot-lid.
      Mini lites? oooooh
Porsche brakes (definitely be uprated just unsure what type to go for).

To do now is remove the glass and rear sub frame and last bit's of the wiring. Then before i start on the shell i am going to clean up all the 10 valve bit's ready for selling on or part exchanging.

Once my Raf bounty go's in ill be looking to get a large oxyacetylene and oxygen bottles so i can start some of the welding myself (sick of the little bottle's) Oh and i need a transformer " i get crap current out of a simple household plug!!". Going to white spirit the inside of the car to get any tat and sticky bit's off so i can focus on the welding.

Here's some really crappy pics of her as she is now. Phone is pathetic if it aint perfect sunshine!!

Also a picture of my latest acquisition and project...Plenty to keep me and the bank busy over the next year or so with the Wr (Subaru Impreza WRX foing for 400 400BHP/Torque) and running gear renewal.

Then bare shell ready for peeling off the underseal!! Oh the joy's

ell with Ian Quickly catching up and beating me in the "Stripping" Wr Progress.I thought i might as well make a effort and crack on a bit.

Managed to get the rear sub frame top strut bolt on the driver's side off!! Had to split the actual thread and that just gave it enough for the bolt to loosen off. Might be salvageable . As the nut go's on and off fine now.

Then another **** ache!! one of the sub-frame to body (passenger's side,Rear one) decided to sheer off!! , Managed to get it off after some grinding and smacking around!! And still saved the sub-frame mount and sub-frame it self

With that little lot off it was time for a good look around underneath for any hole's and damage.Thankfully none apart from those serious area's highlighted already:

The Sill's both side need replacing,
Boot floor need's most work.and fabricating done,
Front just up from the jacking point on the arch (difficult to explain were exactly) need's new metal.
Rear Quarters are getting cut out for some new A2 Rear's
          New front slam panel ideally

Next job is to remove the pedal box and steering rack...then she is all in the nude. Ready for a angle grinder and wire brush to the underneath!! Also need someone to take the glass out with-out damaging the seal's(So sh*t scared to do it myself)

Now who want's to do some welding and fabricating for me??

Also with the exhaust off. . .a unusual name on the rear back box only see the last half of it " Spacher " ?? Any one know if these are non standard exhaust's. Also can they be mated up to a 20 valve down-pipe? As it suit's the car perfectly and would love to have it on the finished car. Apart from a bit of exterior rust on the back box all is well with the exhaust!!!

The sub-frame all seems solid with the usual rusty deposit's dotted around.Yet no penetration. will need new wishbones. Rear diff might be sold already so will hopefully have the rear sub-frame gone as well soon. and the prop-shaft as it's no use to me going to 6 speed s2 box.

          Also here's a pic of the new front sub-frame look's nice. . on the lookout for a RS2 F-ARB and new wishbone's.

Apart from that pulling apart there's no real progress to report

Will get the picture's up soon once my phone decides to sort it's life out!!
