Great cheers mate. Yeah there's a bit on there. Just shows what you need to do to stiffen up a car with such a huge hatch... Sounds familiar

I know, just need to decide NA or boost, NA tuning is expensive for a small power increase, cams, tubular manifolds, decats and a remap could be fun though. Should probably learn to drive properly it before just chasing power

Yup big rear brace, plus lots of boxing and triangulation

Sorry about the bad pictures, camera did not want to play ball

    Tunnel

    Rear W

Actually, this is probably a lot clearer.

One loft emptied, one fills up.

Gearbox and the bonnet are aside for you, I will pop other potentially useful stuff aside as well.

    How was the drive home?

Hope your mate enjoys his new toy as well.

Now just need to finish clearing out the garage, anybody want a 3B engine?
Drive was good no problems with the trailer, it was like smokie and the bandit with my mate in the E36
Got home about 1230 it never stopped raining!
Emptied out the S2 today and started to clear the loft
Remember to keep unwanted bits cause I will be back for a look next time I am down.

    cheers

    Survived the first track day!

Is feels like the 350 has loads more grip on corner entry and mid corner than the S2, you can just turn in and lean on the front so much, where the S2 would just start too push wide. I could make the S2 rotate hard by trail braking or lifting, but both are rather aggressive, this just turns in beautifully.

However.... on corner exit there is a severe lack or traction when the throttle is applied, I have been spoilt by quattro and it shows!

If I cause the car to slide I can balance it on the throttle, more throttle, more slide, less throtttle and the car comes back into line, however when the back end stepped out on the exit at Clark I instinctively applied throttle and steered into the slide which would straighten the S2 out, but instead resulted in a rather fast spin into the gravel

    So more practice required

Aside from that it has just been maintence
