a sleeper indeed, but looking at the 14'' wheels it will probably have standard brakes to?

which IC did you use and do you have pics of the installation?

I think the IC is a sore point at the moment!

Don't panic Ben it has one now.... When I was out with you it was as fast as it was without a cooler at all....

I have used a WR intercooler in it's stock location on a WR. And yes at the min it has standard brakes....

If I am to keep this car it will have better suspension and better brakes...

What pictures would you like??? There was only time to take 3 pictures during the conversion. The rest of the time I was working or drinking tea.

Nice result... shows you the importance of saving weight and what low gearing can do for those acceleration runs. That car would embarrass an awful lot of exotic machinery off the lights, but I wouldn't take the 0-60-0 challenge just yet

Maybe I can replace the spare wheel with an auto ejecting anvil to stop it......

don't mind the pics then, It's a rather small IC I guess.

I want to have a stock look as it comes to the bumpers, but need an IC solution big enough for a RS2 engine conversion.

With some squeezing and a reverse manifold I am sure you can put a decent size cooler behing the grill. But it is real tight for space...

yeah there is an option putting it behind the grill, or I'll have to make a new front end, but I think it's a shame to cut the original off.

Or fit an air to water charge cooler as I did. Keeps car looking standard from outside and protected by stainless undertray and rated to 600bhp (once I get more efficient rad for it).

do you have more info and pics on that one? Maybe per e-mail to avoid going way off topic here.

Great thread, sounds like great fun. Has anyone seen a build thread on one of these? Is the swap
As straight forward as you make it seem?

My IC works fine on this location. And the 1/4 mile times are absolutely realistic. Will measure mine this weekend. Weights 1190kg. No jack and spare.

Was on the dragstrip today, and ran 13,1 and 168km/h. So it's clear what can do typ85 with stock S2engine
