I had done the upgrade to the porsche calipers, at the first visit at the Nordschleife I could notice the performance was better than the original brakes. But the performance was not as good as the Hi-Spec calipers my friends use on their Mazda. I had to brake much harder to get the same results

So i sold the porsche calipers and bought the six pods calipers from Hi-Spec. I must say i was happy with the serves. Hi-Spec didn't had developed the bracket yet for the audi S2. So we agreed I send them my wheelhub, so they could develop the brackets for the audi S2, without any extra costs for me.

For about 4 weeks ago I had my first test with the S2 on de Nordschleife. My conclusion is that the 6 pods Hi-Spec brakes perform much better than the Porsche brakes, i slight touch of the brake is enought to stop the car. I use Carbon Lorene brake-shoes.

Some pictures of the brakes on my car

Watch your disk wear carefully with Carbon Lorraine pads - they are sintered so have great feel but they are very hard on the disks. I killed a set of disks in 3 races using Carbon Lorraine. On other race pads (Hawk Performance or Carbotech) the disks lasts me more than a season of racing.
