after selling my coupe 2 years ago i need another toy
(roundabouts are not the same in a citreon c5)

gathering bits at mo bits i have are

7a engine
aby avant minus engine and ecu
gt3 mk1 front brake and hangers
fidanza fly wheel
south bend clutch stage 4
koni shocks
white line rear arb
3 inch turbo back exhaust
real rs4 wheels
440 injectors

plans are

respray in vag pearl orange with black wheels
tinted window
4x bucket seats
fiber bonnet
pulled or flared arches
rs2 front bumper
precsion 5557 turbo
wagner em
reverse wagner im
wagner reverse ic
samco hoses
arp head and main studs
660 injectors
full strip down of subframes etc and powder coat
rs2 farb

any ideas will be greatfully accecped hoping to get 450 ish

pick a more efficient/modern turbo.
buy wagner, the full lot ic/inlet, exhuast
fit con rods

good brakes. spend as much on the chassis maybe as the engine.

what will garret 3071r take me to power and torque wise

i would like 450 to 500 which is the best turbo for this it is more torque that im after

Seen a 3071 with .82 backhousing make 410 to 420hp on a reliable dyno on stock head RS2 exhaust @1.4bar. A 3076 with wagner evo exhaust mani will see you into the higher end of the 400's with a .63 backhousing whereas a .82 can see you RELIABLY past the 500 mark with headwork.

Headwork can be looked upon in two ways, it can be used to push the peak figures a bit further or it can be used to fatten the power curve making the car smoother and more driveable.

just looking at the 034 site has any body used the gt 3076

and also what is the wg mean on some of them

there is also a precsion turbo that sounds good any body got any comments about that

I think Jamo is running a 3076 on his stroker, check his project thread. The WG in the part number is for the internal wastegated versions, you dont want one of those, no way.

RWD19T is also using a 3076 on a 2.2 with good results, 4wheeldrifter three.

Gazza has a GT30 I think, it's capable of big power so is future proofed somewhat, if you get bored of 450 ponies.

i run a precision sc6152e. not the newest turbo nowadays basically a t350 hotside and 04e cold with gt 30/40 wheels and 360 bearings. cost affective (cost 399 new)(then)).

making around the 500 mark at the moment.

given the choice id be taking a vbanded billet wheeled precision. not sure on size but a size smaller than i have due to impoved efficiency.
