    Looking good. I used large stainless washers to fit my heatshields back on. Good for another 15 years. lol

    Also my heatshields are pretty screwed...all the fixture points are pretty corroded and highly doubt i can bolt them back on again.

    I have started a seperate thread for this issue as it may be easier for people to find in the future!

    so, here's the finished rear subframe and diff all put back together







    Just as i was thinking of putting it back in, i thought i should check for any rust spots on the rear. Good job i got carried away with the screwdriver and wirebrush! take a look... Waxoyl tomorrow....

    right...UK Formula student is over...Just Germany left to do!

    For all of you wondering...no, I havent lost interest in the project. Literally had no life thanks to formula student...but let me know what you think of our car!! Small problems in the endurance event ruined our competition which was otherwise going reasonably well considering we hadnt tested the car before the event!

    Dampers Serviced - Check
    Front subframe and front wishbones powder coated - Check

    Think thats everything cleaned and painted and most parts in stock to build her up!

    Think its time to get building!

    Its had many many many hours on it! especially if you remember I had the power steering leak on the passenger side...that was everywhere!!

    OCD is creeping in...looking at the pics there are a couple of kinks in the fuel lines that are annoying me! I know what ill be doing in the morning...
