    What was the bottleneck?
What A/R on the turbine housing?

why bottleneck? It is pretty much the realistic/reliable top the 3076 can make.

Depends on the 3076R in part, not all are equal.
The 3076R should not be maxed at that level.

The turbo does not make the car though. I am curious what is around it. Or rather which was the boundary that was hit during mapping.
Might be just knock limited on that engine, high IAT's etc...

simply we dont want to go over 2 bar at higher revs.engine needs to survive 18-20 runs on every raceday...and we got 10-12 in a year.car also runs on the streets,15-20.000 km in a year.

with very "conservative" driving the car runs 11.05@206.

at the end of the season if its still in one piece i will try to max out, probably 2.5 overboost,2.2 till redline.

          cant remember the hotside,its a kkk replica.maybe 0.64?

the 57mm inducer one should be at its very limit at this level. The bigger 58mm one can go to 560 or so. If we calculate the dyno deviation we maybe see bigger numbers also but i mean it is pretty fair there.

              Perhaps 0.82. 0.64 sounds a bit small.
Thank you for the information. All is as I thought

on the same dyno the owner/operator showed me 570-580HP runs from 45mm resticted GT3076R equipped rallycross cars. They also started from 400-600 earlier.I was a bit shocked

However, seeing them in the pits, changing engines/parts after every race....thats definietly NOT what my customer wants.

I know you can go past Garrett's range but this is usually why they don't last long and then people slag off Garrett or other turbo manufacturers for making rubbish turbos that don't last very long.

The true is if you stay within the nominal range most turbos last very well indeed.

the power curves look similar to mine, when the engine/turbo was working properly....!!

Any more info on that setup? How did they enhance the spoolup you reckon?
And especially what parts do they change? Too bad turbospeedsensors aren't standard gear (yet) ...

cams, special internals in the engine, higher comp ratio, maybe modded turbo.also the fuel is special half this, half that,im sure they wont give out their secrets

since the new firmwares support dual configs,we also made a "street" map with lower boost

the small dip was much higher and it was not possible to completely remove it,wg wear i think.
