today I have some issue with servo pump pipe , they where made, and when I try to spin the steering wheel , this little pipe blow out and servo oil was all around engine bay .

than I fix that, engine warm up, and than i touch with hand intake manifold and valve cover WTF...???

this beautiful white paint start to be like GEL.. Noooo .

the stupid guy from paint shop didn't sold me heat resist paint, he sold me regular white paint.. tomorow he will get few punches and can of white paint in his head.. (just kiding) ..

but I'm very angry , now I have to sand all parts , and paint it again, whole day of work. hope that tomorow will be finished.

            than the BIG PROBLEM BECOME..
well we do all new exhaust , and friend take car to his town (90km away from me) . car was perfect until one day. 3 weeks later.

he called me an said; there is some strange noise in engine and red warming light with little oil can on it..
I said OMG ... what did you do?
I drive on highway 230 km/h for a few minutes , and than this red light came , than I slowly went home (25km).

than I went to take a car, and bring it to my home (again).
yes there was a horrible noise..
than I start to take engine out, butt look what I find..

the problem was in small oil pressure sensor on engine block..
they have one pin and plastic around it.. so my friend didn't see that oil leaking out from this sensor. just right in a middle of sensor. almost all oil went out from it.
than oil pump blocked , bearings on connecting road stay without oil , they kill crankshaft , and turbo was blocked.
perfect for total rebuilt of engine.
thanks to God , that cillinder head was good.

can you imagine how it looks in engine when you drive 200-230km/h and have a oil leek on 5bar of oil pressure? DISASTER !!!

this little stupid sensor kill whole engine..
please guys go tomorow in audi shop and buy a new one and replace it. please ..
              it cost 15 euro .
              part number:

              028 919 081 H - 3B
              028 919 081 E - AAN ABY ADU
              please.

maybe he could prevent disaster , but urs6 don't have oil pressure gauge on instrument closter ,
the good thing is that we use engine loom from UrS4 and they have a wires for gauge. urS6 don't have it. now we put gauge from audi 200 20v , now it has
here is a link how to do it:

one connecting rod was bad and all 5 pistons .
we went to buy other good block with all parts inside. so we got it. crankshaft was good , all 5 pistons was perfect, but block was not in good shape.
so we decide to put new cillinder in it. it's done and engine can be built together .

my decision was that engine block must be WHITE , because than you can see every little water or oil leek on it.
it will me dirti sometime , but it's good to see if something happend.

we all so take H profile connecting rod from Aron (aromatic1). BIG thanks to Aron , because he was very kind and made that we get rods same day.

                engine head was rebult to..

and like I said .. it finaly have : OIL PRESSURE GAUGE !

we start the car, work great .
for now it will stay at my home for a little wile . must test it and drive it.
for now it have 70 km with new engine..

on stock setup it will stay few month . than we go further
we allredy collecting parts for something special ..
it will be one more good sleeper on Croatian roads ..

beware . hahh hahah hahah (just kiding)

                  Rs200,

You are right it is a dangerous little inexpensive sitch that can decepetively hemorage a lot of oil. Happened to me, but didn't loose the engine. The head gasket blew a few thousand miles later.

                  Don't believe they were connected.

The switch is hard to get at, but as mentioned, it is well worthwhile given the
                  consequences.

He must be some friend given your work to date. Very imprressive. Hopefully the car's bad luck is a thing of the past.

                  Kind regards.

Igor: Sorry that I missed your thread when it was fresh. I just went through it and all your photos and stories. As others, have said, total respect. Congrats. (too bad the oil pressure switch failed and killed the first engine - the good news is the new engine is even better/has more potential). Good luck.
