Good to see that your local government keeps it open.
Here in the south of NL we have a perfect circuit used for rallycross for decades, but it lost it's license due to a silly crash (ex-WRC car hit a post at 100km/h, driver suffered from a broken leg) two years ago. It's nearly abandoned except for 2 events a year.

        hi,

yes it is AIM MXL Pista dash with a lot of sensors and expansions..As a dash it is ok, but software to analise dataloging with so many sensors is not so advanced like Motec has...

Gearbox at the moment stock, and also I found out, that I have 3.9 ratio in front and 4.11 rear... and don't understand how center torsen is still working

Also have custom dogbox maybe will fit for this weekend, and later we will finish making real sequential gearbox for Audi

Would love to know more about your gear box plans if you would not mind sending me a email or PM? So you would recommend the Aim dash ? or maybe another? I was edging toward the Race technologies as its a good price and seems to be a very capable bit of kit!

              regarding dash.

as I looked over your project post, you will go to track with your car, so you need not only dash, but also datalogger I think, because to set up chassing is more important, than to have 200HP more, to be quick on track.
Race technologies is not so good in datalogging, as a dash maybe, but I don't like the look of it.
Choosing dash, you need to know if your ECU can send information to dash, so you don't need to put additional sensors for dash and save $$, also if going to datalogging you need input like for: LatG, LongG, Brake pedal switch or pressure, steering angle, all 4 wheel speed sensors and engine sensors from ECU: TPS, Boost, Water temp, Oil temp, Oil Pressure, Fuel Pressure. Going more advanced suspension travel and tyre temp sensors (12 IR sensors, 3 per tyre).

If I had to choose now, then:
              1. Motec (if had enough $$)
              2. AIM MXL Pro, worst case Pista

Motec is advanced, you can make math channels in dash itself, also motec datalogginf software is one of the best..

so you need to know if you only need dash or also datalogging (Race technologies software is not good enough for this)

What's wrong in race technology software?

What is there in AIM SW what RT software doesn't?

I mean, RT dl1 + dash2 package is like half the price of next rivals, but is the twice as expensive also twice as good?

please can you help me I have few question for you...

I saw this picture of valves at your head , soo

is that a standard valves , and why they have this whole in the middle? saw this on few cars , but why is that good if you done this...

now I prepare one AAN head for my car , and I would like to know is that process good and what I can get If do that.

maybe the lower compresion ? or more place for air in cillinder?

and I saw that you are using ViPec for ECU , are they good ? have any problem wit him? is it 044 or 088 ?

                  thanks allot...

have you used both if you have such questions? If no, then try ... all questions will be answered. Not hardware, but SW is the key in datalogging.. AIM is also not the perfect one, but for the $ it does it's job.
if you need dash only then also if you like the look of RT ok, but if you need datalogging, then better go with AIM o best Motec (I think Bosch or PI is only for factory teams). RT I think is for first steps in datalogging, then you will want to throw it far away and never look back

                      Hi,

yes ECU I'm using is ViPEC V88, it's very powerful ECU, no problems at all with it, new software has very nice logger, also mixture map is cool feature. You have to turn your head quite a lot to use all the features. Next step I think would be Motec or PI. If you have any questions regarding it, the ask. We have 7 audi running V88, and some BMW and Nissans on V44

regarding head and valves, it's supertech, had such so put them..didn't think then regarding that hole in the midle

                        No, I haven't tried AIM.

Pls tell us, what is there in AIM SW there isn't in RT, and save me the trouble of downloading the demo, and trying to learn the tricks.

I have found all the info I have needed so far from RT, made the math variables, made virtual sectors, compared laps from different runs.

I do not mean to praise RT, on the contrary, if the AIM is deffo worth the extra bucks, then of course I'm with You.

there is way too long list and my right hand is in gypsum after surgery with only one left hands finder to type it is very hard.

As I said RT is maybe good for amateur/starters, but when you need required info fast, comfortably it seems software was written 5-10 years ago. So I think if it's not one day project, then it's waste of $

                            well... thanks for answer..

my tuner suggest me VIPEC v88 , for my engine setup.. and I will take it in future, but now I will say on Motronic.. If you will know somebody who will have for sale used vipec , please contact me... now I prepare this head and what do you think about those whole in valves , to do that or not?

my setup will be CT355, tubular exhaust manifold,3" downpipe, 600cc simens deka injector, and 044 fuel pump + 300kp sensor in ecu.

only thing what I done on cilinder head are polished exhaust pipes, they are like mirror, so if I do this whole in valve , what I get with this?

is there some special method for those valves or... simply job for metal specialist ...

what do you suggest to me?

                            BIG THANKS..

                              after heavy weekend..
in the morning warm-up wheel bearing housing broke, so had to go to find one in the town and change, also had to make new steering arm, but we made till the start of race 2, so had to start from the back of the grid.. here is video of first lap. later will post some pictures...

started from the rear of the grid, finished 1st, some cars was overtaken one lap in 12 lap race..
