caterpillar, do you have more info about this car?

Nothing big happened, just some tiny things to do and waiting rest of the parts. I'm aiming to get some important parts around christmas 'cause I have a long vacation there.

      Some pics:
      Block painted simple black.

Finally I found a company that had these to sell right away! ARP main studs. These came from Germany.

Valve spring plates. Left originals, right Rosten Perfomances. I put the oem ones, you see the differenses. Repo gave the tip that oem is better solution.

Left original outer spring, right Rosten one.

Left original inner spring, right Rosten.

I've been thinking about the turbo. I would like something newer and "better" than the 3076r. Maybe GT35, or Precision or what... 'cause 3076r max output will likely come too soon on the edge and I would like that there is a something in reserve. And v-band would be nice also!

Nice project. I like the idea of the car/engine combo.
          I nearly bought a 952 years ago. I don't mind a 'poor man's Porsche'.

Remember to cut back one of the main studs as they seem to crash the one way valve in the block.

You obviously mean this : "Note - shorter stud is installed in main bearing #3, above the block oil check valve (MC motors do not have a check valve)"

Thanks for the info, didn't know this before and it just caught my eye on the website.

Does somebody know which side up the piston rings should be installed? 1 and 2nd compression rings have "N50" on the other sides, might this be a tip?

E: And these are Supertech pistons and rings

As always, any marks on the rings, facing up

Piston rings needed some tuning, the gaps were too small.
Now there is ARP everywhere around the crankshaft

The pistons and rods found their place

Just some testing, need to measure if this fits in the engine bay....

Yes, one needs t obe shorter in order not to crash the check valve.

That's Furans. I bought it from Ebay. Previous owner obviously made those exhaust temperature sensor places. And pressure sensor also in the collector. It need some fixing and tuning but if it fits in the engine bay, I'll of course use it. If not, I'll sell it.

Does somebody have some measurements for the oil pump bearings or etc. so I could sleep my nights well after I put this back... Or should I just buy new one?
