    My 3b Project

Engine out shortly for a full rebuild.

I'm waiting for a few parts to arrive so been doing fitment checks for the time being.

Reverse Intake welded together, just need to sort the intake to throttle body. More fitment checks to come with front brace and intercooler, 7a cam cover with V8 Coil Packs

Looking good Ian, be interested which route you go down with the V8 coil pack conversion. Been trying the German guy who Andy P bought his coil conversion harness from but he's not returned any of my messages. Did you do the work on the intake?

Hi, haven't figured out which way with wiring. May buy the plugs and make a loom myself as have the wiring diagram. Only problem is my engine loom is 3b and wiring diagram is for aby. I'm sure prj on here does the harnesses, maybe worth a PM to him!
Intake i cut the bits myself, marked them up and had them welded by someone else.

A little progress tonight, starting with new loom for coil packs but should i be using heat resistant cables ? Also in two minds to remove the air con, any points of view ?

Coil Pack wiring has turned out nice, it's easy to run the 5 new cables down to the ECU behind the battery through a spare rubber inlet on the fire wall.

nice I will go for the pin swap route too, but I want the coils to be at the bulkhead and run cables to the spark plugs if possible.
