    Thanks Pat D!
Running around 470Whp now at 2 bar. Full boost around 4200rpm on 7a cams and pump fuel. But i have a small T4 .58a/r hotside fitted now and will fit T4 .68a/r hotside soon and see what it will do on E85

Did not map my car myself but my tunes says it can make a lot more power.

    I have a 2.2L engine!

Why it's my wrappped mani special À la carte. Nothing says you're home like the aroma of thermal wrap volatiles and baked stainless

It was a crap job, but does look good. The photo makes it look worse for reason. I soaked as it makes it a lot easier and will tighten up once dried, it was still wet in the pic there. The runners I got spot on, but the collector was a right ******* trying to get it right. I had the stainless ties but not the tool to tension it up correctly and was making a dogs breakfast trying to get it right. Some people use stainless steel wire, but I couldn't find any at the shops, so stainless hose clamps it was. My aim is to keep temps down in the engine bay, wasn't too fussed about the claimed improvement of gas flow

I was referring to the plasma coating cracking not the manifold

Why doesn't it crack of its wrapped? Because if covered you don't see it?

Done plasma coating and it cracks so I wrapped mine this time round. I also used the stainless tie straps instead of jubilee clamps tidier and nicer finish. Pig of a job but you mus5 be chuffed with the results as it looks good

Looks like a right PITA and TBH I am still dubious about the benefit. So Pat, would you pay for Plasma coating next time?

Did you soak the heat wrap first ?

I did mine and used stainless steel jubilee clips but it dident really need them .
But looked better with them .
