Moved the alternator to the other side today! Better airflow for the radiator

[s2_bo]

That Vband TB mod is cool!

[Greg_S]

What are you using for the snub mount instead now? What parts were required to move across?

[V6quattro]

I think i don't really need a submount. I have all solid mounts.
The alternator is off a Golf 3. Made some aluminium spacers to align the alternator with the crank pully on the submount. A little belt and a timing belt tensioner off a Renault.
And extend the wiring.

Did some work on the downpipe today. Really happy with the result!

Nice, who made the exhaust manifold?

[V6quattro]

Its a one-off manifould made by http://www.4stepsahead.nl/index.php?id=64

I'm the second owner.

So, you got the manifold of Carlo's RS2. I thought he was building a new engine for it (stroker)
The owner of 4steps is a old friend of mine and i am sure he is happy to make some more.

[V6quattro]

Yes i have that from Carl. I think the quality is really good! Its almost a year ago i bought the manifold from him so i don't no what he's doing with his car now days.

Here are some photo's from the progress i made!

Some more

Exhaust system looks very well done

[Avantus]

Also one massive intercooler

[V6quattro]

Tanx all.

Did some more work on the Wiggins style fittings today. Really happy the way thy turned out. No silicone hoses at all. First time i use these so i can't tell anything about them really.

Anyone knows how much the exhaust will expand when it gets hot? I don't hope much
