How come I haven't heard 'big blue' screaming around my neighbourhood then ?
She is certainly on the loud side nowadays going by that video ;-)

          Hi Paul,

Long time no chat. I actually sold the car to a friend, so it hasn't went too far. Screamer pipe was removed, it was brutal. I still owe you a exhaust for your S2, give me a shout sometime.

I'll maybe get you to take the primary cats of my other wagon sometime (B6 S4) but I have some niggles to fix first.

Do you happen to still have the screamer pipe - I know a man in Armagh that wants to try one (not me as I am SORN on the S2) ???

Yeah, screamer pipe still here, i'll have a look for it. I made a plate up to block off the other end of the exhaust where wastegate pipe enters.

Might as well give the clutch a workout before the SRE item goes in with the new engine

                      Hi Byd,

Why did you decide to sell the urS6 after you'd invested time in it and got good results ?

How's the new owner getting on with it ?

Is he a member on here ?

What did you buy instead of the urS6 ?

Sorry for all the nosey questions.

                        Not nosey, just sensible questions....

I sold it to a good friend of mine, it didn't go far (7 miles) and was up at my house tonight. I tend to do this with cars, I like playing with them, getting them going well and then tend to sell them. My friends buy most of them. I actually got the S6 converted to LPG and was using it as a daily driver. I changed jobs at the start of last year and was doing 600miles a week, even on lpg it was tight.... Now drive a 2.slow passat estate again on LPG.

My project at the minute is a Mk2 golf GTI fitted with a 1.9 tdi engine. Currently dyno'd at 228.5bhp and 349.7lb/ft. It just about to get cage and buckets fitted.

If you ever are near Belfast and want a run in the s6 give me a shout. My mate is on here sometimes, he had a S2 avant before, he couldn't resist the 5 cyl noise. He loves the S6, people don't know what that age of car is, buried a 535d one night and I mean just played with it.

Thanks for replies. With that amount of poke in the mk2, putting it all into a synchro shell it might have to be next ?

Thanks for the invitation, would love to take you up on the offer, just need to make time in the Spring.

                            Hi All,

Bit of a quick update, I sold the car to my mate, he uses it as a daily. I was heading drag racing in my MK2 golf tdi, when he turned up... Here is a quick vid, Paul N did the software so it has launch control at 5.5k. He ran 13.5sec and 13.9sec. I though that was pretty good for the big girl, it has a LPG kit installed so I'd say pushing 2 tonne..

Thats not a bad result at all, especially considering the size

Quick update, I have just bought this car back again, my friend had it for 2 years, he used it as a daily, but nothing much has changed. I hope to get the paintwork tidied abit. Maybe a dyno session to see how it's running.
