Few pics after a very hard run lol. must not have bled the cooling system properly, must look in to that tomorrow.
Treated it to a nice wash.

thats looking well.fair play to you.ive to do all the same jobs as you aswel,need to get the funds together and the thumb out over the winter.im thinking of changing my shocks to bilstein and oe springs.any advice on this set up?Comment

Cheers ! Can't comment on shock springs setup, as I've only ever driven her on O/E springs with completely fecked shocks and then brand new coil overs but I'm sure someone on the forum might have some info,
As for my thing the paint is due a red pay and a few rust bibles here and there, all to be expected tho,
If I decide to part with them I have H&R springs in the shed, but I might hang on to them I'm not sure yet

ive a 91 3b .is yours a blue .i think we mite even have the exact same colour by the looks of it
rear subframe isint too bad but i plan to refurb front and rear in the next few months.my shocks are fecked aswel and the springs have also seen better days.i was going to concentrate on doing the front shocks, springs,subframe and bushigs first.as you said there may be a few suprises aswel

That is a good lot of upgrades/maintenance in one go, should be a real improvement.
So when do you get new brakes?

Your pretty much doing what I set out to do first off, car handled like a waterbed when I first got it! Much tighter now, it's amazing what those poly bushes do for a car !!
Like you I left the rear of the car alone, apart from fitting new brakes and the coilovers
The rear is I whole other saga, I plan to get my hands a good used diff as mine has a lot of backlash init and can equate to quite a thump back there if your not smooth with the clutch/geRchanges. Subframe is on its way out unfortunately so I plan to fit a new one with the diff and poly buss the back at the same time, I'll get there slowly, kinda back to a part gathering stage now again,1991 S2 3B Coupe, KW v1, solid sub frames, poly bushed, chipped, about 260 ishComment

Really need to look into a new rad as my bleed points are fubard and I can't bleed it properly, suspect airlock, and lifter noise after it been driven as hard as she'll go
When left to idle it disappears and all is quite again, so I suspect the head is getting a bit hot and the followers are getting stuck in there bores.
Drivers window has decided to not cooperate, can hear relay click when button is press but not a budge or a abound from the glass/regulator

Need to get an air shroud for the rad, maybe carbon
Two new fasteners for timing cover as i only have one fitted at the moment.
Need part number for ABY MANN filter ?
Also got a urge to get some elipsoids.
And after reading a recent post on here about the N75, i think ill purchase a new one along with a DV and getting the injectors cleaned.

Went for another drive today and the brakes are bedding in nicely, disturbed a few locals whilst bedding them in so cars firmly off the road for a week or two

Went for a long awaited spin with the father today, lots and lots of road noise which I'll learn to live with, but both pleased and the father loved the bit of power and myself
