Yea, Its very good on good road, but I kinda regret not setting the koni to softest setting since the roads near me are crap lol
I will have to take them off again to adjust them but havnt had the time. I really dont want to change the springs back to OE as I really like the look of it that much lower, especially the back of the car.

I am going the same route on the avant, but will know better this time.

i dont mind waiting till koni's are within budget. i do like the idea of them being adjustable. if all goes well for me, it should fingers crossed be only a short drive to work.
                    cheers

What needs to be done to a 3B ECU for it to be chipped to 280, is there someone on here that can do it? also are there any supporting mods needed with chip ? thanks!

don't spend money on 3b chips.. find AAN ECU and do the pin swap. it is much better option!

Why not? Bang for buck its pretty hard to beat 280bhp for £150.

3B ecu is normally socketed so the eproms fit in, need to solder in the map sensor though.

PM spink, prj, hoffer, s2central etc.

for 150 pound they can buy AAN ECU and convert engine loom from 3B to AAN.
5 used 1.8 coils can be find for 50 euro , conectors for coils can be find in crashed audi & vw cars.. few euro .
and it is much better solution than 3b ignition. of course 3 days of free work.
there are always some problem with them. too expensive ignition cables and rotor arm. misfire is usual on them.
it is not worth to have 3b. difference between 3b and aan is 10hp, but after 3b you will thing that you have chipped 3b
