Progress so far.

Body work been removed, side mouldings removed, what a job with that adhesive. Plan to mould the door into a smooth curve gettin rid of the gap.

Rear window removed as the doors will be welded up, and a one of piece perplex made for the window.

So a three door sedan, stripped out bare shell sprayed and rs2 body work. To boot alot of horse's

for the subframe.. i put a 10v into my b3 16v quattro a few year ago now and just welded the mounts onto the chassis legs and bolted the 10v onto the 16v box... original subframe and gearbox/driveshafts etc infact even the original 16v ecu and simply plugged the 5cylinder metering head into the 16v loom.. i'd imagine it would be short ratios for a 20v turbo but its going to be a road rally car so will be awesome

Seems like a good plan. I have wanted.to do this for years but done have the space. A good plan would be to fit spacersbetween the usubframes to get a.bit more tyre clearance and maybe try and get some longer travel somehow. I'm sure iv seem sub frames spacers on an audi somewhere.

My plan is to convert a 1991 2 litre 8v B3 80 Quattro into a road legal rally car. This is my first audi and my first project, im hoping to gain mechanical knowledge and skills out of this as well as an awesome Audi. ..Cheers
