22 November 2011 - Prop shaft and engine

Prop shaft on. I chose the 034 central bearing. This would prove to be not one of my best choices.

Just not had the time to write up the thread....took lots of pictures though......even the more mundane things like taking door cards off .....and more exciting things like fitting RS2 mirrors

So I've made it a habit now of posting every day to catch up

                  Lots of clean and shiny!

Block is very blue, any reason.

I love the rear brake setup, I was half hoping my rear calipers were seized.....

Yeah....went with the colour code of: -

                      Engine - Blue
Sub-Frames and Struts - Aircraft Grey
Anti-roll bars and Calipers - Red
                      Sump - Silver

No reason....just looked sort of co-ordinated plus the grey makes it easier to see things in the engine bay against that background.

The rear 996s are delicious.....my original calipers were as good as seized

                          • Thats quite bad alright, but not surprising to find cracks in the bottom pulley, I am sad to say.

                            Amazing work on the car..
