Thanks. Its a very tidy orignal car bags of history and all the common fails are sorted. After some thinking today I think it will still get broken. Sad as it is, its still worth more in bits, I found it boring to drive and crap on fuel so lost interest in it. I would like the interior for my avant tdi. I will do an ad when I'm back in the uk.

It will be a nice car after some TLC. You are very very lucky to buy a such a nice car on that price . Can you find another one ?

The '94 lhd version with two airbags have high front pockets on the front doorcards. Inserts from early doorcards won't fit the newer front doorcards, rears are identical. I guess I can't use them - bummer.

The trims in the boot are from an unknown car I have another set and I will check if they are different.

Bought some 9x17 Azev A wheels, but will need tyres.

So it felt slow, i connected a boost gauge and saw a max of 1.1 bar. I did a boost leak check, found a few little issues but it held 1.0bar pressure for some time.
still only did 1.1 bar Not wanting to spend time fixing it properly i fitted a bigger WG spring and MBC and set it to 1.4 bar. Its still not that quick but it is the best its been. The MOT man said it was a basta** to get through the emmisions so wonder if it has another issue.

Henyway, it drives ok - realy need to bleed brakes and adjust exhaust off the chassis rail before Louie C collects it on wednesday.
(BTW it now comes with stock S2 3 spoke wheel and normal headlights Louie)

Its because it has a boost protection cut thing when it reaches something like 4degrees or freezing or something so im not surprised with the weather we are having. On a warmer day I bet its fine!

It was a warmer day when tested.. today i just hooned it to work.

In the pics you can see my CQ - the S2 was very nearly its engine donor!

actualy, i just rememberd i replace the bailey BOV with a stock one as it was seized.
I did this after i deleted the N75, so thay may actualy have been it.
i will put it back to stock later and try it.

                              Hi Gavin,

                              What happened next ?

Did the N75 fix it ?

                              Who has it now ?

                              Thanks.

No idea! and i dont remember about the fix.

I didnt have an S2 for a couple of years, but recently bought the silver one off here, which turned out to have a bent rod..

It wasnt as easy to save as the black one, a right old mare..
