Marco have you already had the car chipped for the current setup?

Not yet, mate. And I see this could be quite a problem once I get to upgrade turbo and auxillary. Trying to figure out how to manage this.
It's performing pretty good with the actual setup, though. I can see limiting factor being turbocharger's flowing capabilityes right now.
Still need to mess a bit with cam timing, but need to wait for temps to go above 7-8°C. Below this temperature my ECU won't allow boost to raise over 1.45-1.5 bar.
MIHNEA what can we do about this?
Will post Gtech results when I have some reliable ones.

Lol, I was just re-browsing this thread last night and wondering the same thing.Originally posted by BillmanAnything new from you Pisobiker? Do you have a bigger turbo or a cutom map yet?
As for me, I have an 034 Stage IIC now that I intend to use with my stroker motor, when it exists. I've got the name of a local machine shop that I will check with to see if they are up to the task of helping me build it. I still need rods and pistons, but I want to speak to the machine shop before ordering them.
What's the news, Marco?

Got hold of the GT30R now
....
Should get the flanges for building the EM and exhaust system laser cut whitin next week.
Unfortunatly lack of time will slow things down quite a lot. I think this next step will be a "winter project".....
By the way, I'm getting used with the nice low rpm pull the RS2's trubocharger produces on the stroker. Hope I won't regret it too much once upgraded to the GT30R unit...

I'm curious too, because I just disassembled (or at least took the pistons and rods out of) my 95.5mm shortblock the other evening. As I pulled off the oilpan, I realized I wasn't sure if it was retained when using the block in a turbo configuration. It's a pretty deep pan, but perhaps the shape of it is more for the Eurovan setup (transverse, maybe different angle?)Originally posted by BillmanDid you used the AAT oilpan and oilpump?
Looking in the cylinders I noticed some piston scuffing on the walls (visible on the pistons too, of course. I plan to have the squirters put in and the other mods done to the block.
Not to dilute the thread, but here's a pic of the pistons I took out. Is this typical wear in a 95.5mm motor?Attached FilesKenneth
