Audi b2 coupe quattro 10vt vems

So it's time to start a project thread here. I bought a coupe quattro almost 3 years ago. When i saw the car it wasn't what it supposed to be but decided to buy it anyway because they are really hard to fin these days. Bought it pretty cheap if i can say so, but in really bad condition. Former owner didn't take good care of it. I'll post some pictures with what work i've worked on it. I hope my english isnt that bad )
It had already an mc swap.
I've rebuild the head, changed some gaskets and put the engine back in. Worked for a few days and then it decided not to start any more.

I never liked k-jetronic so was time for something more serious. i've then started collecting parts to build a more powerfull and lets hope more relliable car. Upgraded the brakes, deleted the abs (25.4mm T4 no ABS brake pump, g60 calipers , zimmermann rotors, b4 struts and CV joints) and suspension, aluminium subframe bushings. Bigger fuel lines (stainless steel 10mm) with an-6 fittings, 034 fuel rail, siemens deka 630cc, aeromotive fpr, bosch 044 fuel pump with custom swirl pot.
The engine: MC with stock internals, 20vt metallic head gasket, ARP head studs. Garrett gt30 turbo, external wastegate, custom exhaust manifold with screamer pipe, 3 inch exhaust with v-band and magnaflow rear muffler. I had to modify the intake manifold also because of the tight space, i used a 80mm throtle body and connected straight into the intercooler. It's all a tight fit so i made custom engine and transmision mounts so that the engine wouldn't move much. The clutch was modified and balanced in Hungary.
For fuel and ignition control i chosed an Vems ecu with a 60-2 hall sender and distributor with one window secondary trigger. For me this is the biggest problem because i'm not able to start it and this caused me nightmares ) Is my first time when i mess around with engine management. Any info will be welcome.

Now the car is almost finished, just need to get it started and get a tune. Just wondering how strong the rods and bolts are? i haven't rebult the bottom end. What's your opinion? how much pressure will it hold with a good tune and a low rev limiter? will it achieve the 400hp mark? any inputs are welcome. Thanks a lot.

Great project !

Great project, love a 10VT.

This chap is up to something similar, he could probably answer your question about the strength of the bottom end.
