I have accepted that this car will not be perfect, because its the first car i restore. The next one will be better as i learn on this one. I am pleased with all suggestions for improvement.

The probshaft is balanced. I have to add some paint where they attached the new steel plate

In such comfort conditions cheap roller stud extractor works and the process is faster. Sometimes even with studs in cast iron (exhaust, turbine hotside). And you save many old expensive OEM studs reusable.
I use welding only when there is no chance to use extractor or 2 nuts tighten strongly together.
Such Snap-On extractor seems to be the best, but expensive:
It should save studs thread even better.

I doubt your car will leak after all the care and attention put into it but, that sound proof material sounds ideal to withstand the infamous Coupe foot well leaks!
The paintwork looks amazing good quality - it is going to a VERY nice car once finished but, will you please hurry up i can't wait to see it done!

Nearly a year since the last update ... My log says only 270 hour of work on the car in that year. I have also become a student!, that is stange, because i am soon 28 years old ... I am doing a bachlor in Technology design and managment. So lets start with some pictures.
