These are 7" boleros off A4 Quattro Sport I think, but I don't mind, allows me to run 225/45 tyres Rear windows I took from my A100 which had them tinted, haven't got round to tint the boot side one's.
Nothing much, I've finally finished the fuel lines, also started on interior clean up I'll put some pictures up today after giving it a good clean.
Also picked up the boleros yesterday from powder coaters, and they look so much better in silver.
Just brought this over from the silver avant thread.
Two things:
1. Nice Boleros. I bought a set (New, in boxes) for my 94 V8 S4 avant and now I have to think about get tires on them. Your Boleros are the proper Ur4 one, mine are the V8 ones.
2. Throughout this entire thread, I never noticed, until today, that the red avant appears to have the factory deeply tinted glass (naturally not for the front seats). My V8 avant has that.
Unfortunately this will be going up for sale in next couple of days as I've decided to keep the grey S4 as it seems a more solid car. It will be on 16" avus with quattro script interior. Will post full thread soon!
I was wondering, is there a way of testing the rear top mounts without disassembling the strut? sometimes it feels like they are fine, but sometimes it seems like they are completely gone.
Could it be something else, I get a really harsh knock when going over bumps and stuff?
