Hello you lot.
I have a 97 C4 AAN S6 Avant. Its been in storage for 3 years and has now got a bad misfire on starting it. Part storage was outside and for the last 6 months it's been in my new garage. I am suspecting either a coil pack or the rubber boots as they are pretty shot. Only one of them still has the rubber flare at the plug end..... the other 4 have all come off.
It has a FMIC (there is a thread on here about it somewhere?), SSteel CAT back, MRC custom remap that was never properly finished off - long story! Alloy Recycle valve, Different N75 valve (cant remember the type), Samco hoses, short shift kit etc
Anyway, I am about to spend around 10 grand doing this car up. Wheel recon, to dark gunmetal grey, body tart up in the local body shop - to remove all dodgy bits on the paintwork and a full detailed polish up. The brakes need an accumulator, the aircon has never worked, the cruise has worked around 3-4 times
I intend on getting it back into MRC to see what they can do to it.
It's going to be an interesting project and I will endeavour to detail it on here.
Thanks
Jim
