Very impressive filing Mr. Liberian.LOL. I remember your post better than you do.

This one: http://www.audifans.net/modules.php?...highlight=fmic

Just wondering why no one decides to have a custom intercooler made that it the size of the water radiator and thinner than the intercooler used in the photo ?
My reasoning behind such a suggestion is that one would not have to do as much /any trimming or hacking of an expensive / rare euro UrS6 front bumper.
What bhp, say 380bhp RS2 Fried spec, would cause the standard UrS6 intercooler to be a significant bottleneck/weakest link to the RS2+ spec and therefore worth doing something to relieve the bottlenek and get a few more bhp ?
Just wondering about the above, sorry about the partial hijack, but I reckon others will be interested in the replies.
Thanks.

Hello,
It's indeed nice to see one more UrS6! As far as those rubber thingies go: Please safe yourself a lot of hassle and upgrade the coil packs to more modern ignition with one of these:

Any info on the FMIC would be welcome, especially if it sits behind a euro bumper.
Can those coil kits be purchased in the EU or even better, the UK please?Jim B

I did reply to you via PM but If I can find a EU source for the 1.8T coil pack conversion then I will go down that route as I think it may be a coil pack issue.
Although, still give me a price please as I may well purchase yours as well.
ThanksJim B

Also, are there any Porsche rear calipers that will fit please?

1. I know it was a typo but to be clear, being a Liberian from the west African country of Liberia is quite different than being a "Librarian" who stores and remembers UrS (S2, S4, S6, RS2) trivia and info.
Just sayin'
2. A local UrS6 owner has RS2'd his AAN in 2004 with MTM Stage 3 software (292 whp on a rolling road) and did not go for a FMIC, just kept the OE side-mount intercooler. He doesn't track the car but does do some "spirited" driving on his 30 km (one way) daily drives to work (well over 200K km on the engine *SINCE* the RS2 upgrades and software).
So is a FMIC absolutely necessary? No.
He also never went for Samcos, just new OE boost hoses, and has never had an issue. So go figure.
