Hey Pete
The quick answer is not really done anything with it yet. I've been busy working on the house so far this year and I have slowly been getting rid of parts I don't need to create some space. It's a nightmare having a garage full of parts.
I've also been collecting more parts for my engine upgrade to "Ultra" spec, I have most things now for that. So the plan is to take the CQ off the road for a few months over winter while the salt is on the roads and fit the MD357 and other supporting parts, and fit the bigger brakes. Then I will run that setup in the CQ as a test mule while I prepare the "Ultra" shell.
I'm going to build a spit & flip it over to work on the underside - strip & reseal that and also add a few bits of chassis bracing. Then I'll get it painted and finally swap all the hardware from the CQ into the S2.
So it's a 2 year project really, but you can't rush these things. I'm getting married next year so will have to curb spending on toys for a bit

Congratulations buddy.

I was have to make this decision to have kids and say goodbye to S2 or not have kids and keep the car.
I kept the car
I'm sure it will be absolutely the best S2 in UK and I just can't wait to see it being born again.
Good luck buddy
