Yes and no. You would need to fit a complete coupe/90 quattro B3/B4 or S2 driveline to fit the KW coilovers. The type 85 cars have 1-piece struts fitted so you would need to get some 2-piece struts with hubs and matching outer CV joints that will fit the standard 90q axles. Or fit a complete driveline as per my second sentence.

S2 driveline with hubs will make big brake kits sorting easier but it can be done on 90q hubs as well of course.

I fitted S2 legs and hubs and kept existing gearbox. Took a bit of messing around with driveshafts to get some to fit. Brakes are 996 porsche ones with 314mm A8 discs and bambridge mounts. Do a good job of stopping me.

I personally wouldn't want to use B2 as a daily shitbox, snotter, or anything alse that's classic, especially VAG, as parts are not easy to get. I'd be just as worried about someone else wrecking it.

I always like to have something common as a run-about, something I can beat the crap out of, parts are easy to get, & even if it gets totalled, I can just pop out & get a replacement easily.
That's partly why I had the D2 S8, the Porsche 986, and I always have a soft spot for an 8L A3, the quattros being great in the winter, the TDI being good for its fuel economy.

Or how about a B5 A4? A 1.9TDI if you want it to be good on fuel, or if you're a torque junky, or an S4 if you want a old shitter that also has the potential to be very quick?

I've a coupe quattro with an aby
Just interior stripped out and a chip tune, kept standard gearbox
Quick through gears but top end not high
I wouldn't want one as a daily sleeper as parts to hard to find
Go for a b3 coupe quattro instead, can still look sleepy but changing other stuff would be easier than a b2
Or v8 it to be a bit different
