Small Urs6 project!

Hello guys!
I'm pretty new here. I bought the urs6, 2.2T almost a year ago and since then I have had a lot of problems with that - gas leaks, lots of air leaks, brakes were stuck and many more. I have got a lot of help here, thats why I am doing my own thread, maybe it will help someone somehow.

One cylinder had bad compression and I decided to check the valves and same time port the head.

When I removed the head I was not planning to change the the engine belt, because the last owner told he did it 1000 km ago. Then I saw this...

There was also broken original intercooler and everybody here knows that behind the bumper is not enough space, so I decided to put the water to air intercooler but the IAT was a little too high so much money wasted and now I'm waiting for air to air intercooler to arrive...

The 4th gear sync was broken also when I bought the car So i needed to replace it.. When the gearbox was off then I decided to change some more stuff.. No dual mass flywheel needed anymore and the other things all new.

Thuppu's rear brake upgrade. Have not driven much so I dont know if the brakes are better, but one thing I know for sure - originals look ridiculous on 18'' wheel..

Last owner wanted to make led lighted gear knob and destroyed the knob.. New 6 speed gear knob was hard to find. So I rebuild the old one with new leather and the hole was replaced with black oak.

Little work with engine done. New air cooler, turbo, oil lines, Albert's EM, 4'' downpipe, lots of NERVES and oily hands! (bad picture quality because of mobile phone's camera)

I applaud your work effort but there are few details that don't look like they are going to work.

1. It looks like you've mounted the mounting bar by bolting INTO the radiator head tanks. That's going to fail one way or the other. Most people hang their C4 FMICs off the rad supports and then tie the bottom to the round frame cross-rail.

2. As far as I can see, you will have problems with your left headlight the way you have run that post-intercooler pipe towards the throttle body without going behind the headlight. The photos above and below show how to do it better.
