Bad luck! I’ve never heard of the cam wheel bolt breaking. What are you going to do about the broken cap?

Yes ive never heard of cam bolt breaking either. Im putting it down to fatigue and over torquing.
Luckily its not a main cam cap. So im going to have it welded and machined down.Current:

Good news, as you probably know you can't mix n match the caps, well, without line honing them
Looks like you will have it up and running again soon
are they stock intake valves? If so I have some spares, FOC I may have a cam wheel bolt too, but I guess you want a new one?

Alex its been fun.
No they are stock sized Supertech valves. I dont have any locally so will need to source them overseas.
As for the bolt i have found an equivelent size bolt found locally but a higher grade 12.9 in lieu of the stock 10.9 tensile grade.
OEM Bolt size is M10x1.25x30 and 10.9 tensile

Hey guys
Just to finalise this build (for now.. lol)
Limited boost to only 36psi but can go 40. Would probably reach 700hp on 40psi but whos counting...
Now i need a dog box because went to roll racing last night and slave cyl doesnt like the abuse.
One graph shows the different boost levels we were playing with.

Regarding the problem og broken bolt
wasent there a problem with the tommis 2 gen. Cam wheels and catcams fitment
they went to far in so the cam wheel wasent in the right position ?Comment

Probably explains a lot on my end.
