At last I got around to paint my subframes and underneath the car
First some pre coating to stop any small rust particles that could hide in some pores that i have overlooked when I blasted them
Then two layers with 2k epoxy primer
And then at last two layers with 2k polyurethane black paint 👍
Always a pleasure to see new painted parts :-)
Underneath the car was also 2 layers of 2k epoxy primer and then i put on some seam sealer around every plate and at last 2 layers of 2k polyurethane black paint.
The Only thing left underneath now before it's ready to start putting things back together is a final layer of spraying on some black body sealer underneath the car
It's finally starting to look like a car again :-)Last edited by powercar; 12 May 2016, 18:46.IG: Alb garage

It have been a slow period without any special progress lately Because of work and other things, but finally some small progress this weekend.
I started to take out the dashbord, cabels everywhere...
And then the complete heater unit
The heater core have seen better days for sure, but this will be changed and the complete heater box unit will get an proper check, clean and refurbish before putting back inside
And then it was time for the fun part, the spiderweb of cables and relays....
Aaaand it's out
I'm glad that i have labeled every wire before i took everything out of the car[emoji1]
But now the work starts, checking every cable and repair it if it's needed.
Or maybe somebody know's someone or somewhere it's possible to buy new complete or have it made?
Or maybe i just make it myself, we will seeIG: Alb garage

Well, it's been a while since I have been on here and even working on the car actually.
I don't know why exactly but I suddenly just lost all of my motivation ☹️
I have been doing some small things here and there just so it didn't come completely to an stop , but nothing much to show actually.
But now I feel that I have my motivation back so now I can finally start working on this again and start posting the progress her like in the beginningLast edited by powercar; 7 April 2018, 14:15.IG: Alb garage

so this is the status on the car today, almost ready for a re-spray inside the car, just a few things that are left, removing the sunroof cassette, taking out the windows, removing the doors and the tailgate, then a quick scruff over the bare metal places and the rest before cleaning and ready for primer
