Liking most of your additions, but why not get the decent 3 spoke (non airbag) steering wheel for it? The one you have - although nicer than the original, is still not very nice... IMHO

I already had a S2 non airbagsteeringwheel and an Urquattro steeringwheel.

Steeringwheel is for sale again because i have the old type of switches (model '88- '89) (four-square) and the switches can't i switch without cutting in the cables..

I have test fit my steeringwheel from my 90, don't know if i put this one or non airbag from s2)

Started on saturday on cleaning op the enginebay (cleaning & painting) & big service (filters, seals, belts,....)







I have a week off, perfect for working on the car

Work we did today;

cleaned;





Collectors still needs some work but that is when the valve cover is back on


Tomorrow picking up a really nice part for the coupe!

Picked up the refurbished Bolero's! No fancy colors or something, just silver!




Picked up RS2 mirrors (replica's by cult society) brand new, never mounted or painted..


Enginebay is ready, now waiting on some parts so we can finish it!

Put tyres on the wheels, love it! (needs some low)

Put the B3 hub on the urquattro steeringwheel and fitted it in.


Picked up a black floor carpet and some other interior parts.

Received some new parts;


Also received the sideskirts i ordered.
I ordered some for a Coupé, but received for saloon..
Now waiting on how the shop will fix this issue, if they don't find a solution i 'll short them in.
I will also make them less high (so cutting 2-3cm from the height)

Put on the Kamei Design rearbumper too!


Mounted the seats back in & the other interior parts.


Finally received the engineparts & build it up again! yeeey!

On monday we'll replace the fuelpump because it makes a lot of noice and after that i can mount the black thrunk carpet in it!
In a couple weeks we'll start on the suspension; new springs, new supportarms, new little Stabilizer bars, sandblasting the struts & paint them, paint the complete rear axle, paint the brake pads,..
Still a lot to do

A long time ago! We have done a lot on the car since!
Went to a Audi meet, the first long drive with it! Did it fine, except the ****** suspension.




The day after the audi meet we started on renewing the suspension!


New paint on brakeparts

Had some issues with the heater, removed the dash and saw the problem.
Also mounted a new heaterradiator



had some cartroubles a week ago, car started shaking and turned off.
Fuelpump dead.. bought an new one (bosch) and problem solved!




I dropped the car at the bodyshop/paintshop on Thursday for a full respray.
But he found some bad repaired damage so it is more work then expected.
It is not cheap, but for me worth all the money.

i'll keep you all updated!

Looking very good. Usually I don't like aftermarket body extensions, but this Kamei kit looks really good. It's quite discreet.
