would this work?
Subaru (Legacy B4 RSK) and Mazda RX7 series 6 IIRC had a sequential twin turbo set-up designed to work as you describe above. However the design was fundamentally flawed in that, (in the case of my old B4 anyway) the primary, smaller turbo hit 4000rpm and then bled off excess gasses to spool up the secondary, larger turbo. Problem was that during the spool up of the second turbo, the primary lost boost and caused a severe 'lag' between the two turbos. Essentially this meant that if you changed gear and landed in that black hole between 3900 and 4500 rpm, you died!!! It was this lack of drivability through the rev range that caused me to sell the B4 after 18 months and buy the S2
Hope this helps
Cheers

Can't remember if I told you about this place when I brought the pistons round, if you haven't already got your rings for the JE's, you can get them from here, very helpful company.
Sorry to bring this thread buck up, but is better to continue with this one them make new one.
As most of the parts including engine are the same, (except the car which has been written off)
The project is to install all of the parts into UR. We have converted the ur to Lhd, done all suspension and under-body.
At ADI I have asked few friendly forum members about the turbo I wanted to fix on to the car which I have already in my possession but did not get clear answer.
I am trying to bolt gt35 to high powered engine with repo's exhaust and inlet manifolds but I am a bit hesitant to do so as I think this turbo maybe too big for my application.
We already done fulling system with 044 5bar pump and brand new RR fuel lines so I dont really want to add more pumps.
And the question is would 044 pump deliver enough fuel for gt35?
Thanks
