Well I'm still alive... Another group purchase on the Samco hoses starts now...

I'll follow up with everyone interested to get things moving - anyone else can PM me directly of course. Usual terms apply. Its £210 for a set of turbo hoses in any colour. That doesn't include postage to where you are. Lead time from Samco receiving the bulk order is 6-8 weeks.

That price holds for 3B, ABY or ADU (RS2)... and for the record - EVERYONE has paid the same price from day one...

The reason the Samco hoses are only available thru me is because there isn't a sufficient size of market for them to get to the retail and distributor channels. Samco can't deal with requests from joe public, so I have the relationship to get these made for forum members.

Sorry its a slow process sometimes, but somebody has also noticed that I do have life outside the forum so apologies if I can't be around 24/7 all the time.

Im gonna take my chances with the SFS hoses, the turnaround time on Samco's has always been ridiculously slow! and far exceeded this 6 week turn around time.

Its a free country Ant, but I have to dispute your claim I'm afraid...

The *perceived* lead time is longer because the clock starts ticking when Samco receive the bulk order - not when the 1st person sends me money. On previous batches there was some frustration as some folk had paid maybe four weeks before the order was committed to Samco. Then there's the extra few days for me to sort all the kits and post them to individuals - especially if extra funds are required to cover postage.

Worst lead time I've seen from Samco is 8 weeks.

I believe the first set took in excess of a year to come thru, at the time there was talk of getting them intime for GTi International that year, they werent even ready for GTi the following year!

In any case, its all academic.

Jees Ant - that was before the tools existed. It took months to get those made. Its a 6-8 week lead time now.

i am definitelly interested for the Samcos for ADU engine.Is that price (210pounds)include all hoses?i mean both turbo and water?
Also is the black colour available for the samcos?
please tell me when and where i should send the money!

it will be just for the boost hoses not the warer.

im unsure who to go with.. dont wanna get involved in a turf war just want some silicone boost hoses :/

ok,since dahlback has the same hoses for 380euro,meaning only the turbo hoses),i guess getting them from here is cheaper,by a margin of 50euro or so(depending the pound-euro equation).
Anyway,i guess im interested,but i sure wish water hoses where made too.I would like all of them replaced with good ones once and for all!

i think they have ADU engine turbo hoses.i didnt ask about ABY there

Dont see why there should be a turf war Ski.

Impartial view

1) Samco, tried and trusted already by forum members but delay on availability.
2) SFS, Have yet to be seen so any issues with them are unknown, greater availability.
