Hello there.....looking for a S2

Hey Dutch,

you probably don't want to be fagged with this, but have you thought about getting one from Germany? Here's the link for a search for S2s on www.mobile.de :

I've not done it myself (yet, but its def possibility for me to do), but importing from germany is not TOO hard. i have made a list of what's necessary somewhere. if all else fails for you, it might be an option ?

On mobile.de, there probably will be a S2 Coupe for sale from a guy located in Offenburg. His name is Sven Vogt and he specializes in S2's, RS2's and Ur's. PM me if you want his cell number. He speaks pretty good english and he's a reputable source of Audi performance cars.

Does it say in the text what those seats are from? I ask as is the car is really a 91 3B, then they have prolly been changed as they look like the late ABY seats, but have full electrics on them

the seats aren't from a later ABY as the switches are in a different place....on mine that is!?!?...
good luck with getting it imported....I am moving outhere next spring and was told it would be easier to buy out there!?!?....If this is the case I may buy an RS2 and ship that!!.....I will have to re-check this...

IMHO it's a ABY from the year 1995
EZ = erst zulassung and means date of firs time legal on the road (most of the times production date)

Have you looked into the costs of shipment? I spent 6 months in Southern Alberta, and looked at flying a mini out there - was quoted about £700 to Vancouver which i thought was very reasonable. It was a smaller car tho...

After having spent a few years in the US and Canada, I must say that Canada has to be the most underrated place in the world - and the fact that you can take an S2 now puts it a whole league ahead of the US! Another good reason to have a 3B

I'd be really interested to know how this one works out for you, with a possible view to repeating the venture in the future.
