The OEM S1 manifold would be £1148.35 + VAT if it was still available. Unfortunately they are obsolete now.

If a group buy on the dahlback manifold goes ahead so that replicas can be made you can count me in
The dahlback manifold looks a lovely bit of kit but as many people say it is a bit pricey.

Do you mean the SQ inlet manifold?? The S1 was not for sale!

I think the best design is the New Dahlback dual chamber! Also think that the SMS Dual plenum is too small!

The IM that mark H has mentioned looks promising so far. The only reservation I have with it is the lack of dip stick mounting and pulley for the throttle cable which i am sure can be sorted. and wether it will clear the standard PAS pump and water manifold.

Another thought, it it worth fitting the VR6 throttle body too?

The IM that that is in the yellow Audi S2 3B (post from Albert) was done in Finland. There was lots of work to fit it with long equal length runners. .... Audi Talladega had even longer runners.

how big are the VR6 TB's?

I am using a big 80mm Mustang TB with my dual plenum IM, I only tested it for a short while before taking it all out ready for the new motor. Seemed ok just a little 'twitchy' when opening the throttle in traffic, it was easily adapted to though, although as a daily driver a bigger TB might be a bit of a PIA.........

Still not sure of what gains there may be, plenty of high power S2's use the standard TB (like Javad's) but I have also heard of a few using big TB's too, so for me jury's out and still testing. Aelred could tell you more as he has used bigger TB's I think.

Here the one I am testing

Mark I will post the info tomorow about the mm size inside of the trothle. But AFAIR it is 80mm.

This is what guys in Supras use for 1000KM+

Well I have measured the ID of an ABY TB (inlet manifold side) at 66mm so I guess there is little difference!
